How do you pose your clients?

I don’t. My approach is more like “whisper a joke to the other”, “tell me the most embarrassing thing in your relationship”, “who can laugh the loudest”, “who can run the fastest”, etc. This gets you moving so you aren’t stiff but creates the magic you’re looking for.

How long have you been doing photography?

I shot my first wedding in 2012 for $150. It was an indoor wedding and my flash stopped working in the middle of it so I borrowed someone’s. Probably not what you want to hear when looking for the photographer to book but just know, I started from the bottom, now I’m here. ;)

What is your favorite time to take photos?

I love the golden hour (like so many) and cloudy days because there is no harsh light. Also sunrises + sunsets on TRL is priceless. But I also love most venues because indoors, that natural light shining through is BEAUTIFUL.

How will we get our photos?

I pose a sneak peak on social media and send to you then post the gallery highlights on social medial and I send a link digitally that you can download on a desktop. Most apple devices allow you to pick and choose what to download to your phone but the file size will be too large to download all of the photos.

If we hire you, what’s the process?

We can start with a phone consult to map out the details, we can chat via email about your shot list or we can show up onsite and make the magic happen. Depending on the shoot and your needs, I will ask questions and we will go from there!

Are we a good fit for each other?

I sure hope so but I am also not trying to be a photographer for everyone. I don’t do super posed sessions, you might not like my style, I try to offer packages at a price for everyone, and I try to offer a variety of mini-sessions and photo options to meet everyone’s needs.

What do you do in photoshop?

I remove distractions (stop signs, someone picking their nose, etc.) and I will remove major blemishes but otherwise I am promoting body positivity so I won’t edit to make you skinnier or change who you are.

Do you require a deposit?

I do require a deposit or session in full depending on the type of shoot. All other monies are due the day of the shoot.
